課程概述

課程編號:122 M3250 空間與英美女性小說 班級: 教師: 劉亮雅
This course will introduce theories of space through reading the works of Michel Foucault, Henri Lefebvre, David Harvey and Doreen Massey. The critical issues that will be examined concerns how space, power, knowledge and gender work to affect the distribution of private and public spaces, the solidification of social hierarchies and how such distribution informs the construction of personal identities. These theories will be applied in reading and exploring the novels of Virginia Woolf and Toni Morrison.
